Express FS single and double façade brackets

Express FS façade brackets, also known as HHB (helping-hand brackets), carry a rainscreen or cladding rail off the structure at a set stand-off, clear of the wall for insulation, drainage and a ventilated cavity. Single or double, 40 to 400 mm, in aluminium or stainless steel, with thermal pads and the structural and thermal calculations included. Supply only, or supply and install.

Why specify Express FS brackets

Single and double façade brackets in aluminium or stainless steel, made in the UK, with the structural and thermal calculations included.

  • Frame, brackets and façade together

The brackets come from the same company as MET-PRO SFS and the Express ALU Pro rainscreen, so the interfaces are ours to coordinate.

  • Calculated for each project

Structural and thermal calculations are included in the price, and an in-house engineer checks every project before production.

  • Thermal pads

HI and standard thermal pads, backed by 3D thermal calculations.

  • Quick to order

Made in the UK. Standard sizes are usually available quickly (ask us for the lead time), and you can order them online at FAB Supplies.

How we work

Express FS brackets FAQs

Single or double: which bracket do I need?

The single bracket suits most rainscreen and cladding fixings, at standard bracket centres. The double sets two brackets back to back for more rigidity and load where a single bracket would be over-stressed: longer stand-offs, heavier cladding or wider centres.

What sizes are available?

Single and double brackets from 40 to 400 mm in 20 mm steps. On a 60 mm deep L or T rail they give a stand-off of 45 to 425 mm; a 100 mm deep rail adds 40 mm. The stand-off is the distance from the substrate to the rail face. Ask us for sizes outside the chart.

Are calculations included?

Yes. Structural and thermal calculations are included in the price, and an in-house engineer checks every project before production. Send us your rail depth, bracket spacing, wind zone and substrate, and we will confirm the bracket size, material and fixing.

Can I buy the brackets on their own?

Yes. You can order standard brackets online at FAB Supplies, our group's shop, or we can price them on their own or with the SFS and the rainscreen. Standard sizes are usually available quickly; ask us for the lead time.

Need brackets with your frame or façade?

Send the drawings and the cladding build-up. We will price the brackets on their own or with the SFS and the rainscreen.
