Testing and test reports

Specifiers need evidence, not adjectives. This page sets out the tests behind our systems: what was tested, to which standard, by whom and with what result. Each result applies to the sample tested. The full reports are available on request.

Weather performance

Tested to the CWCT Standard Test Methods

Three of our systems have been tested to the CWCT Standard Test Methods for building envelopes (2005) at a UKAS-accredited laboratory (testing laboratory no. 0057). Two tests were of samples made for real projects; the Plank test was a system test. A CWCT test is not a certification: each report covers the sample tested.

Fire

Fire resistance, BS EN 1364-1

An asymmetrical, non-loadbearing wall of MET-PRO SFS, clad with 3 mm Fixed Cassette panels on the fire side, was tested at Warringtonfire. The test covers this wall build-up. It is a fire resistance test, not a reaction-to-fire classification.

Testing FAQs

Are your rainscreen systems CWCT tested?

Fixed Cassette, Secret Fix and Plank have been tested to the CWCT Standard Test Methods at a UKAS-accredited laboratory, between 2024 and 2025. The results are above; the reports are available on request.

What fire testing have your systems had?

A MET-PRO SFS wall clad with Express ALU Pro Fixed Cassette panels was tested to BS EN 1364-1 at Warringtonfire in 2025: no integrity or insulation failure at 66 minutes. The test covers that build-up only.
